Beverley’s story: remote advocacy

Beverley* is an Aboriginal Elder who lives on a remote community outside Darwin. She lives with a serious health condition that affects her mobility. In the wet season, her house became inaccessible. Darwin Community Legal Service advocate Ramnik Walia helped her find a solution.
